Welcome to TravelPlanner. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TravelPlanner, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Description of Service

TravelPlanner is a travel planning platform that allows users to:

• Browse expert-curated travel itineraries.
• Save, customize, and duplicate itineraries (paid plans).
• Book flights, hotels, activities, and car rentals through third-party partner links.
• Create a photo diary of their travels.
• Share trips with the community.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the security of your password.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription Plans and Payments

TravelPlanner offers the following plans:

• Free: Browse free itineraries, save up to 3 trips, basic features.
• Explorer (€4.99/month): Unlock all itineraries, customize trips, unlimited saves, PDF export.
• Premium (€9.99/month): Everything in Explorer plus trip builder, collaborative planning, photo diary with Instagram import, and offline access.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

5. Third-Party Booking Partners

TravelPlanner integrates with third-party booking platforms (Skyscanner, Booking.com, GetYourGuide, RentalCars). When you click a partner link and make a booking:

• You are entering into a contract directly with the partner, not with TravelPlanner.
• The partner's terms and conditions, privacy policy, and cancellation policy apply.
• TravelPlanner is not responsible for the quality, availability, or pricing of third-party services.
• TravelPlanner may receive a commission from partner bookings at no additional cost to you.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, notes, custom itineraries). By posting content publicly, you grant TravelPlanner a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content within the platform. You may delete your content at any time.

You agree not to upload content that is illegal, harmful, infringing, or violates the rights of others.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other accounts.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute itinerary content without permission.
• Upload malicious code or interfere with the platform's operation.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use automated tools to access the service without our written consent.

8. Intellectual Property

All TravelPlanner content, including curated itineraries, design, logos, and software, is owned by TravelPlanner or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TravelPlanner is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• Itinerary information (prices, availability, ratings) is always accurate or up-to-date.
• Third-party partner services will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TravelPlanner shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to TravelPlanner in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Zurich, Switzerland.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
